ID Requirements

Below are the forms of ID required to enter Splendour In the Grass.

ID is needed to match the name and date of birth details on your ticket and it is also a liquor licensing requirement if you wish to consume alcohol. 

Splendour will only accept the following forms of ID:

  • Australian Driver’s License
  • Passport
  • Government Issued Proof of Age Card such as NSW Photo Card or Victorian Keypass
  • International Driver’s License (must contain a photograph)

If you cannot produce such ID you will be considered a minor and will be excluded from all bar service and bar areas.

For over-18s, student ID cards do not qualify as legal ID for licensing purposes, nor do household bills or letters.

For under-18s who don’t have a driver's license or a current, valid passport, we will also accept a copy of your birth certificate PLUS one of the following:

  • Student ID Card
  • Bus Pass
  • Bank Account Statement in your name
