Yes that’s correct, all tickets for Splendour’s new and very awesome premium festival experience the Country Club, sold out over the weekend.

Our three-day, one-day and camping tickets sold out in under an hour when they went on sale to the public last Thursday. With the Country Club tickets now also gone, ALL tickets for Splendour in the Grass 2013 have now completely SOLD OUT.

SECRET SOUNDS SIDESHOWS

We do have some good news for those who missed out. Secret Sounds have announced the first lot of Official Sideshows this morning. JAMES BLAKE, HAIM, MS MR, EVERYTHING EVERYTHING, JAKE BUGG, FIDLAR, DAUGHTER, PALMA VIOLETS, SURFER BLOOD, LAURA MARLING, will all be performing other shows around the country. BERNARD FANNING TOUR

Bernard Fanning will also be doing a run of shows surrounding Splendour. Hitting 18 shows, across metro and regional areas in every Australian state, The Departures Tour provides fans from Cairns to Canberra the first opportunity to hear the forthcoming album Departures live.  First taste of the album ‘Battleships’ has already been embraced across the nation, with the likes of triple j, Triple M, Nova 1069 and B105 pushing it straight onto rotation last week. TICKET RESALE FACILITY

Still have your heart set on attending Splendour in the Grass 2013? There is hope! You can try your luck in this year's RESALE facility, which will kick off via www.moshtix.com.au on June 5. This is the only place where you can purchase legitimate tickets for Splendour in the Grass 2013!

DO NOT PURCHASE TICKETS FROM ONLINE AUCTION SITES.
Splendour tickets include the name and date of birth of the purchaser. This is checked against your ID at the festival gates. There is no facility in place that allows a ticketholder to change the name and date on a ticket and transfer it to another person.

Gumtree has been cooperating with Splendour by removing Splendour ticket listings as they appear. To date there have been no Splendour tickets offered for sale on eBay.

FLYING TO BYRON BAY FOR SPLENDOUR

Ballina Byron Gateway Airport is the closest airport to Byron Bay and offers up to 52 flights per week direct from Sydney, Melbourne and Newcastle on Jetstar, Virgin Australia and Rex. There are frequent shuttle buses to meet most flights, car rentals, taxis, limousines, free wi-fi and all day café. SPIN OFF FESTIVAL

Spin Off Festival is back for 2013, bringing the best bands on the Splendour in the Grass bill to Adelaide for one kick ass party at Thebarton Theatre on Friday August 2. Debuting in 2012 with the likes of Lana Del Rey, Kimbra and Band Of Skulls on the line-up, the festival gods have smiled upon us once again with a fantastic pool of acts to choose from. The hardest part was only having a handful of slots to fill! In the end we were stoked to snare Of Monsters and Men for headlining duties, ably supported by Passion Pit, Snakadaktal, Chet Faker, FIDLAR, The Jungle Giants and Dune Rats. RESALES

While we will NOT be providing a service whereby tickets can be transferred from one person to another, we will be offering the RESALE facility where unwanted tickets can be placed in a pool of tickets for resale to another party unknown to the original ticketholder. This ensures that those wanting to buy a ticket pay the correct, advertised price. 
 
Please note this is not a direct refund system for unwanted tickets. The original holder of the ticket gets their money (less fees) back only when a third party purchases their ticket. 
 
The RESALE facility will kick off via www.moshtix.com.au on June 5. More details soon.
 
Remember! You can only purchase legitimate Splendour tickets via our official ticketing provider, Moshtix. Do not buy tickets from unauthorised sellers.
 
Both Splendour in the Grass and Moshtix have written to Gumtree instructing them to remove any Splendour tickets. It is worth noting that there are no Splendour in the Grass tickets on eBay. They at least appear to have done their homework.

However, there's still a smattering of  COUNTRY CLUB tickets remaining at moshtix.com.au, although we expect these to sell out in the next day or so. The Country Club ticket gets you into the show each day and also includes the option to either camp in a dedicated camping area with your fellow Country Clubbers or alternatively, if you're staying off-site, gets you a handy parking spot near the festival entrance. But wait! There's more...

Exclusive entry to the Country Club Bar which will be located beside the Supertop in an elevated position with a view to the stage and accessible only to Country Clubbers. Your own bar with its own toilets! Wacko the diddle-o!! There's also free phone charging, some complimentary merch, cloakroom vouchers and even a Concierge to communicate with you before, during and after the festival. This ticket may cost more, but we think the list of inclusions makes it pretty darn good value. More info here.

While the system laboured a little today under the huge demand for tickets, even with our increased capacity this year all single and three days tickets and camping tickets sold out in under an hour.

We've had a lot of interest in the COUNTRY CLUB TICKETS, which you can learn more about here.A common question is whether the Country Club ticket includes camping. Yes, it does. If you want to camp on-site in the Country Club camping area, then you can do that without needing to also buy a Camping Ticket. If, on the other hand, you're planning to stay off-site,then we can provide you with reserved parking close to the festival entry. Those of you who choose to camp with us will be located in your own Country Club camping area close to the entertainment area.

All Country Clubbers will gain access to the exclusive Country Club Bar, located beside the Supertop in an elevated position with views to the stage. There'll be free phone charging, complimentary cloakroom vouchers, t-shirt, program, poster plus the club's own toilets. This year SPLENDOUR IN THE GRASS finally moves to its idyllic, permanent home at North Byron Parklands. Picture wide green meadows, flower covered dams, trees, trees and more trees. From July 26 – 28 this eden will be transformed into a nirvana for music and arts enthusiasts. 

“It has been a long road but it’s been so worth it! We’re finally presenting Splendour at its permanent home at North Byron Parklands. The site is currently being prepared for our ‘housewarming’ and we are super excited to show off our new digs!” said co-producers Jessica Ducrou and Paul Piticco.

Over three monumental days, punters can random shuffle their feet between 80+ of the hottest acts on offer today, from global tastemakers to the “ones to watch” to festival favourites as you’ve never seen them before, to seasoned internationals and truly iconic Australian acts.

SPLENDOUR 2013 will include all of the event’s popular festival features plus some super new additions!

No Splendour experience is complete without a few lost hours in the TIPI FOREST, the quintessential Byron experience. Also channeling the essence of “The Bay”, GLOBAL VILLAGE is back with all the performances, workshops, market stalls and global food fair that everyone loves. Factor them both in!

SPLENDOUR IN THE CRAFT. “Finally!” we hear you say. Yep, we thought so too. You can expect a bunch of crafternoon workshops like Upcycle Your Merch and Pimp Your Tent. There’ll be lunchtime Crafty Sessions with talks by some awesome crafters. We’ll also have some of our more crafty musicians dropping by. Plus there’ll be suitcase rummages, markets and more. So much goodness!

MISS SAIGON KARAOKE. We all know how this goes! It had to happen. Way overdue!

THE RED BULL MUSIC ACADEMY is a world-travelling series of music workshops, gigs and info sessions. It’s a platform for those who make a difference in today’s music landscape. This year, the Academy celebrates its 15th birthday, with New York as the host city. As part of the local Aussie celebrations, Red Bull Music Academy will be curating its own stage, assembling an all-star cast of local and international artists to further your musical education. Stay tuned for the announcement of artists that will be performing on the Academy stage!

Car Passes
We want to make sure that we avoid heavy traffic congestion when arriving and departing Splendour 2013 and we have spent an enormous amount of time working on initiatives that will simultaneously ease traffic on local roads around the venue area, whilst also creating a greener event. In an effort to radically reduce traffic congestion, we will be implementing a car pass system that will encourage carpooling. This is a system that has been successfully deployed in the past. Vehicle Entry Passes will be required for all vehicles entering the site.  Stay tuned for more info on how you can get your hands on one.

TRANSPORT
Regular shuttles will run between surrounding areas and North Byron Parklands, including Byron Bay, Brunswick Heads, Ocean Shores, South Golden Beach, North Ocean Shores, New Brighton, Mullumbimby, Ballina, Lennox Head, Bangalow, Tweed Heads and Coolangatta.
Shuttle tickets will be available in advance from Moshtix from June 12.

Bee-lieve it people! In 2013 Splendour In The Grass will finally move to its long planned permanent home at North Byron Parklands and we’re ready to throw one massive housewarming party!

Splendour In The Grass 2013 will take place on Friday 26, Saturday 27 and Sunday 28 July.
 
660 acres of rolling green hills, beautiful native bush and water lily covered dams, North Byron Parklands is just 20 minutes north of Byron Bay.
 
“It has been a long journey to get to this point.  Seven years after we first found this idyllic piece of land, we’re so excited to finally move Splendour to its permanent home at North Byron Parklands.” said co-producers Jessica Ducrou and Paul Piticco.
 
The site is currently a hive of activity preparing the venue for Splendour’s next chapter that will include some new areas to explore and lots of space for camping.
 
“Onsite camping has always been a high priority for us. It creates a real sense of community at the show.” they said.
