SPLENDOUR FORUM, the festival's hugely popular live discussion program, is back in 2014 with a tantalising buffet of delicacies for your mental palate. Favourite treats including Women of Letters (the lovely literary salon in which artists read aloud a letter they have penned "to the song they wish they'd written"), political satire sketch comedy A Rational Fear hosted by comedian Dan Ilic, The School of Life's Sunday morning secular sermon (unlike any religious experience you've known), and APRA's Songwriters Speak session return to the Forum's menu. This year, world-leading thinkers, activists, politicians, spies, journalists, comedians and rockstars will take a seat at the Forum's table, tucking into an intriguing selection of discussion panels, debates, interviews, Q&A sessions, documentaries and philosophical talks. And stay tuned for news about our new late night stand-up comedy club.
If you've never set foot inside this special tent, Splendour Forum is where you can take a seat, relax, listen, laugh and even chat to some of today's most prominent, popular and interesting thinkers and cultural identities, including musicians, comedians, film-makers, writers, journalists, artists, actors, designers, tech geeks, politicians, scientists, journalists and activists. Open 10am-4pm daily.
