TRAVELLING IN YOUR OWN CAR
In order to minimise the number of private vehicles travelling to and from the festival, we encourage car-pooling as much as possible. As one of the ways to encourage ride-sharing, we require that all vehicles entering the site have the appropriate pre-purchased Vehicle Pass. Stand by for info re Vehicle Passes soon! The number of vehicle passes available each day will be capped. This will serve to limit the number of vehicles entering the site each day which will reduce the potential for traffic to clog local roads and site entries.
More info can be found in our Vehicle Passes FAQs.
BP Brunswick business hours are 8:00am-6:00pm weekdays, Saturday 22 July 7:30am-2:00pm & Sunday 23 July 9:00am-3:00pm. Alternatively the Shell Service Station at Tyagarah operates from 7:00am-6:00pm.
PLEASE NOTE: VEHICLE PASS REDEMPTION VOUCHER SYSTEM
The good news is that if you do car-pool you can get a $30 redemption voucher against the cost of your vehicle pass. Event and Camping ticket holders who have pre-purchased either a Car Pass or Tent Pass, and arrive with 3 or more people in their car, all with valid 2017 Event & Camping tickets, are eligible to receive a $30 redemption voucher.
To get your refund, staff will scan your vehicle pass on arrival, verifying that all occupants within the vehicle are valid festival ticket holders, and will then issue you with a redemption voucher if you have the correct number of people in your car. Redemption vouchers are only issued when your vehicle pass is scanned. This voucher will contain information on where you can redeem it within the event area. Redemption vouchers can only be redeemed at the event.
