Flood Relief Fundraiser

In the wake of Ex-Tropical Cyclone Debbie and the resulting devastation across the Northern Rivers region of NSW, Splendour in the Grass announced the Northern Rivers Flood Fundraiser on Friday 28 April.

The initiative saw 50 specially created Flood Relief Gold Passes auctioned off across four days, with net proceeds raised to be donated to the communities that lost so much.

The results are in, and Splendour in the Grass is thrilled to announce that $69,067.25 raised will be distributed across the Tweed Mayor Appeal Fund, Lismore City Council Flood Appeal and the Mullumbimby & District Neighbourhood Centre Inc. in the Byron Shire.

From Tuesday 2 May to Friday 5 May, punters from around Australia and as far away as Mauritius jumped online to battle it out in the bidding war for this great cause.

Our successful auction bidders have earned themselves some serious karma points, plus they’ll be doing Splendour in style, with access to our VIP Gold Bar, Amphitheatre side of stage viewing area and the Golden View bar, overlooking the main stage action.

To all who got their bid on, thanks for helping #SplendourDoesDebbie. You’ve made us proud as punch! The emotional toll for the whole region has been immense, but your generosity helps those worst affected one step closer to recovery and ultimately saying “cya never Debbie” for good.
