CAMPING TICKET – FAMILY CAMPGROUND (THE MEADOW):

A Camping Ticket that provides access for each ticket holder to The Meadow, a family friendly camping area located within the general campgrounds. Children aged 12 and under are admitted free, and must be accompanied by a parent or adult guardian at all times whilst at the festival or campgrounds. A Camping Ticket – Family Campground are one ticket per person and those intending to camp onsite will need to purchase an Event Ticket as well as a separate Camping Ticket. The Camping Ticket does not gain entry to the festival and the Event Ticket does not gain entry to the campgrounds.

PLEASE NOTE: anyone wanting to book pre-erected tents through Tent City Hire, Tepeelove or Flash Camp must purchase a Camping Ticket first. Tent City / Tepeelove / Flash Camp bookings do NOT include a Camping ticket.

TICKET HOLDERS WHO CAN NO LONGER ATTEND SPLENDOUR IN THE GRASS 2018 CAN USE THE TICKET RESALE FACILITY TO OFFER THEIR UNWANTED TICKETS UP FOR RESALE TO A WILLING PURCHASER.

Those intending to SELL their unwanted Event and/or Camping tickets may put them into the Resale Facility from 9am AEST FRIDAY 11 MAY 2018. This Resale Facility will allow you to offer your tickets for sale through moshtix, giving you the opportunity to get your money back (minus $30 resale administration fee & minus original booking & transaction fees).

Those wanting to BUY a ticket have the opportunity to do so, subject to availability, when the Resale Facility opens from 9AM AEST MONDAY 14 MAY 2018 AT MOSHTIX.COM.AU. Tickets offered for resale will be made available at the regular ticket price plus fees*. We can’t predict how many tickets will be returned, or when tickets may be available during the resale period, so keep checking in with MOSHTIX.COM.AU. The purchaser can buy tickets for up to 4 people in your preferred selection of Event tickets, Camping tickets and carbon offset options, depending upon what is available.

Here’s the IMPORTANT info you’ll need for each ticketholder at the ready when purchasing tickets.

IF YOU’RE A SELLER

We get it. Sometimes plans change! If you need to offer your unwanted Event and / or Camping tickets for SALE you can do so from 9AM AEST FRIDAY 11 MAY 2018 through the Resale facility. This Official Splendour Resale facility will allow you to offer your tickets for sale through moshtix, giving you the opportunity to get your money back (minus $30 resale administration fee & minus original booking & transaction fees).

The resale facility put your ticket up for sale closes at 5pm (AEST) Wednesday 11 July.

 

IF YOU’RE A BUYER

All the regular stuff still applies. There is a limit of tickets for up to 4 people (Event and / or Camping tickets if available) that you can purchase. You will need to have the correct name and date of birth for each person as these details are printed onto their ticket. You will also require the email address and mobile contact details for each ticketholder so be sure to have these details at the ready when purchasing tickets.

The resale facility to purchase tickets closes at midnight (AEST) Monday 16 July so keep checking back in until that date to see if your preferred ticket becomes available.

3-DAY EVENT TICKET – TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE & ENTRY

This ticket is sold or provided on the express condition that the holder (“Ticketholder”) is bound by the rules & regulations issued by Splendour in the Grass Pty Ltd (“the Organiser”). Ticketholders agree to be bound by the Terms and Conditions contained herein and on the Splendour in the Grass website and at the Event Entry.

This ticket permits entry to the Splendour in the Grass 2018 festival (“Event”) at North Byron Parklands (“the Venue”), Wooyung, on Wed 18 July (campers only), Thu 19 July - Sun 22 July 2018 (inclusive). This ticket does not permit entry to the Venue campgrounds unless the Ticketholder also purchases a 2018 Camping Ticket. Event Operational Times: Thu 9am-midnight (Non-campers must use public transport), Fri-Sun 9am-2am. Day Car Park Times: Wed/Thu - Closed; Fri-Sun 10am-2am.

  1. Ticketholders MUST show valid Photo ID at the Event entrance bearing the same name and date of birth details as those printed on their Event Ticket.
  2. All vehicles entering the Venue Campgrounds and Day Car Park must have the appropriate valid pre-purchased Vehicle Pass from www.moshtix.com.au. Pass must be displayed as per the Terms and Conditions printed on the pass or as detailed on www.splendourinthegrass.com
  3. Tickets are non-refundable and non-exchangeable.
  4. It is a condition of purchase that the Ticketholder consents to the Organiser collecting and retaining their personal information. The Organiser will hold your information as required by the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and for contacting you in relation to ticketing matters and Event information. The Organiser will not trade or sell your personal information.
  5. No refunds on tickets except as required by law &/or specified by the Live Performance Australia Ticketing Code of Practice. Incorrect purchases DO NOT qualify for a refund or exchange. 
  6. The Organiser reserves the right to enforce published ticket purchase limits and cancel any tickets obtained above said limits by any one customer.
  7. If you are removed from the Venue or the Event and/or denied entry to the Venue or the Event, you will not be entitled to any ticket refund in part or in full and/or compensation.
  8. Do not share your ticket barcode with anyone else or you may be denied entry. The Organiser reserves the right to deny admission to the holder of any ticket that appears to have been tampered with, counterfeited or duplicated.
  9. Your ticket will be exchanged for a wristband that you MUST keep on for the duration of the Event. Lost, damaged or stolen wristbands will not be replaced.
  10. Anyone entering the Venue, or found onsite at the Event without a valid wristband, will be deemed to have trespassed and will be handed over to the Police for charging. Maximum penalties apply.
  11. Ticketholders aged 15 and under must be accompanied by a parent and/or adult guardian at all times in the Event area, who must also hold a valid ticket to the Event.
  12. Persons aged 13 and over must purchase a ticket to the Event. Those aged 12 and under are admitted into the Event free.
  13. All minors, their parent and/or adult guardian must abide by the Event’s Youth Policy as detailed at www.splendourinthegrass.com
  14. The Venue, including the entertainment areas, car parks and campgrounds are licensed. Patrons wishing to purchase and/or consume alcohol must be over 18 years of age and have valid photographic ID. Anyone found supplying or buying alcohol for a minor will be evicted from the Event & may face criminal charges. Any minor found consuming or in possession of alcohol will face similar action.
  15. Alcohol cannot be brought into the Venue including the entertainment area, car parks and campgrounds. Any alcohol brought into the Venue will be confiscated and will not be returned. The Organiser reserves the right to take appropriate action in such circumstances.
  16. Bags, containers and other personal items will be searched at the entry to the Venue to check for any banned items. The No Large Bag policy will be enforced in the Event area. Banned items include glass, alcohol, weapons, umbrellas, selfie sticks, video cameras (including GoPros), and drones. See full list of banned items at www.splendourinthegrass.com.
  17. Protest and political paraphernalia and banners are not allowed in the Event or at the Venue. The Organiser reserves the right to remove any person in possession of or displaying these items, or any item which is deemed racist, vilifying, sexist and/or offensive.
  18. Empty plastic/reusable bottles may be brought into the Event precinct for refilling from water stations.
  19. Fireworks, flares and the lighting of fires are prohibited.
  20. Animals are prohibited at the Venue, with the exception of service or assistance animals, such as Guide Dogs.
  21. Footwear must be worn at all times throughout the Event site.
  22. Small still cameras are permitted but professional audio or video recording devices, including GoPros, and professional still cameras are prohibited. Ticketholders are not permitted to record the Event (audio or video) for commercial purposes.
  23. All Ticketholders consent to be included in any official photography, filming & sound recording by the Organiser and/or any of its authorised representatives and contractors, and grant the Organiser the right to use such recordings for promotion and other purposes.
  24. Possession, sale or use of illegal drugs or illicit substances is strictly prohibited at the Venue and the Event. Any persons found with illegal drugs or illicit substances in their possession may be removed from the Venue and subject to Police action.
  25. The Organiser reserves the right to refuse a Ticketholder admission to the Venue and the Event and/or to evict any person from the Venue and the Event if they are affected by alcohol or drugs, or act in contravention of any of these Terms and Conditions.
  26. Activities such as moshing, crowd surfing, climbing and stage diving are strictly prohibited. Patrons engaging in these or other dangerous activities will be removed from the Venue, and patrons accept all risk and liability for any injuries or damages caused by these activities. Entry to the Venue is at the Ticketholder’s own risk.
  27. The Organiser recommends that due to noise levels, ear plugs should be carried/worn by patrons. Offensive language may be used by some performers and artists.
  28. Ticketholder acknowledges that there may be restricted capacities at some of the Event’s stages or venues, and ticket purchase does not guarantee entry to these areas in such circumstances. Once it is determined by the Organiser (at its sole discretion) that the maximum capacity has been reached in these areas, there will be no further admissions.
  29. Patrons must not cause damage to, improperly use, or tamper with any Venue facility or Event infrastructure, or cause any damage to flora and fauna on or surrounding the Venue or enter any onsite bodies of water at the Venue. Patrons must not remove or attempt to remove any item or object from the Venue or surrounding area. Patrons accept full liability and responsibility for any loss or damage caused in contravention of this clause or any other term of these Terms and Conditions.
  30. Patrons may be removed from the Venue if, in the opinion of the Organiser, they behave or act in a threatening or inappropriate manner, including without limitation, any aggressive, riotous, abusive, offensive, racist, sexist or insulting actions towards other patrons, Event staff or any other persons at the Venue or the Event. Patrons are required to follow the reasonable directions of the Organiser and Event staff at all times.
  31. The Organiser reserves the right to vary the Event program and/or to add, withdraw or substitute artists. No ticket refunds or compensation will be made in such circumstances, or if the Event program varies due to the non-appearance of an advertised artist. The Event will take place rain, hail or shine.
  32. Tickets may not be resold, unless via the official ticket resale facility should one be made available by the Organiser, or used for advertising, promotion or other commercial purposes (including competitions and trade promotions) or to enhance the demand for other goods or services. If a ticket is sold or used in breach of this condition, the bearer of the ticket will be refused admission to the Venue and the Organiser may take further legal action against any parties that have breached this condition.
  33. Except where liability cannot be excluded by law, the Organiser (and its employees, contractors and agents) shall not be liable for any loss, cost, expense, injury, claim or damages suffered or sustained by any Ticketholders and patrons at the Venue or the Event. Where permitted under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL), the Organiser limits its liability in respect of breach of any statutory guarantee under the ACL in the manner set out in sections 64A(1)(a) and 64A(2)(a) of the ACL.
  34. To the full extent permitted by law, Ticketholders waive all legal rights of action against and fully release the Organiser, its agents, employees and volunteers for all claims for compensation for loss, damage, injury or death howsoever arising out of or in relation to the Ticketholder’s entry to and presence at the Venue and their attendance at the Event.
  35. In the event of injury or illness the Organiser may, at the cost of the Ticketholder, arrange medical treatment and/or emergency evacuation as deemed essential for the safety of the Ticketholder.
  36. Any provision of these Terms and Conditions which are or becomes unenforceable shall not invalidate the other provisions of these Terms and Conditions.

CAMPING TICKET – TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE & ENTRY

This camping ticket permits entry to the Splendour in the Grass 2018 festival (“Event”) Camping area at North Byron Parklands (“the Venue”), Wooyung in combination with your Event Ticket only. The camping areas at the Venue, are open from 10am Wed 18 July until 5pm Mon 23 July 2018. Camping Ticketholders will be admitted to the Venue campgrounds between 10am-10pm on Wed 18 July, 7am-10pm Thu 19 and Fri 20 July, and from 8am – 8pm on Sat 21 and Sun 22 July 2018.

Private vehicles must have a valid Vehicle Pass to enter the Venue Car Parks & Campgrounds.

  1. Ticketholders MUST show valid Photo ID at the Event campground wristband station, bearing the same name and date of birth details as those printed on their Camping Ticket.
  2. All vehicles entering the Venue campgrounds must have the appropriate valid pre-purchased Vehicle Pass from www.moshtix.com.au. Vehicle Pass must be displayed as per the Terms and Conditions printed on the pass or as detailed on www.splendourinthegrass.com
  3. Vehicles, once parked in the Venue campgrounds, cannot be moved until the end of the Event.
  4. Tickets are non-refundable and non-exchangeable.
  5. It is a condition of purchase that the Ticketholder consents to the Organiser collecting and retaining their personal information. The Organiser will hold your information as required by the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and for contacting you in relation to ticketing matters and Event information.   6. Every person aged 13 years and over staying in the Venue campgrounds requires a valid 2018 Camping Ticket. It is not one ticket per campsite or one ticket per vehicle, but one ticket per person aged 13 years and over.
  7. Camping tickets do not grant access to the Event. You will need a separate Event Ticket to enter the Festival site for each person aged 13 years and over. Those aged 12 and under are admitted into the Event and campgrounds free.

16. The Venue, including the entertainment areas, car parks and campgrounds are licensed. CAMPING TICKET FAMILY CAMPGROUND – TERMS & CONDITIONS OF SALE & ENTRY

This ticket is sold or provided on the express condition that the holder (“Ticketholder”) is bound by the rules & regulations issued by Splendour in the Grass Pty Ltd (“the Organiser”). Ticketholders agree to be bound by the Terms and Conditions contained herein and on the Splendour in the Grass website and at the Event Entry.

This camping ticket permits entry to the Splendour in the Grass 2018 festival (“Event”) Camping area at North Byron Parklands (“the Venue”), Wooyung in combination with your Event Ticket only. The camping areas at the Venue, are open from 10am Wed 18 July until 5pm on Mon 23 July 2018. Camping Ticketholders will be admitted to the Venue campgrounds between 10am-10pm on Wed 18 July, 7am-10pm Thu 19 and Fri 20 July, and from 8am – 8pm on Sat 21 and Sun 22 July 2018

Private vehicles must have a valid Vehicle Pass to enter the Venue Car Parks & Campgrounds.

  1. Ticketholders MUST show valid Photo ID at the Event campground wristband station, bearing the same name and date of birth details as those printed on their Family Camping Ticket.
  2. All vehicles entering the Venue Family Campground must display a valid Vehicle Pass pre-purchased from moshtix.com.au. Vehicle Pass must be displayed as per Terms and Conditions printed on the pass or as detailed on www.splendourinthegrass.com.
  3. If you have a Family Campground Ticket and wish to bring a campervan, caravan, or other towed equipment for camping in, please contact [email protected]
  4. Vehicles, once parked at the Family Campground, cannot be moved until the end of the event.
  5. Tickets are non-refundable and non-exchangeable.
  6. It is a condition of purchase that the Ticketholder consents to the Organiser collecting and retaining their personal information. The Organiser will hold your information as required by the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and for contacting you in relation to ticketing matters and Event information. The Organiser will not trade or sell your personal information.
  7. Every person aged 13 years and over staying at the Venue Family Campground requires a 2018 Camping Ticket – Family Campground. It is not one ticket per campsite or one ticket per vehicle, but one ticket per person aged 13 years and over.
  8. Family Campground Tickets do not grant access to the event. You will need a separate Event Ticket to enter the festival site for each person aged 13 years and over. Those aged 12 and under are admitted into the Event and campgrounds free.
  9. No refunds on tickets except as required by law &/or specified by the Live Performance Australia Ticketing Code of Practice. Incorrect purchases DO NOT qualify for a refund or exchange.
    1. The Organiser reserves the right to enforce published ticket purchase limits and cancel any tickets obtained above said limits by any one customer.
    2. If you are removed from the Venue or the Event and/or denied entry to the Venue or the Event, you will not be entitled to any ticket refund in part or in full and/or compensation. 

12. Do not share your ticket barcode with anyone else or you may be denied entry. The Organiser reserves the right to deny admission to the holder of any ticket that appears to have been tampered with, counterfeited or duplicated.  

13. Upon entry to the Family Campground, your ticket will be exchanged for a wristband that you MUST keep on for the duration of your stay in the Family Campground. Lost, damaged or stolen wristbands will not be replaced.

14. Anyone entering the Venue Family Campgrounds, or found onsite at the Event without a valid wristband, will be deemed to have trespassed and will be handed over to the Police for charging. Guests and/or visitors of Family Camping Ticket holders are not permitted in the Venue campgrounds. Maximum penalties apply.

  1. Ticketholders aged 17 and under must be accompanied by a parent and/or adult guardian at all times in the Venue campgrounds, and the parent and/or adult guardian must also hold a valid Camping Ticket to the Event.
  2. All minors, their parent and/or adult guardian must abide by the Event’s Youth Policy as detailed at www.splendourinthegrass.com.

17. The Venue, including the entertainment areas, car parks and campgrounds are licensed. Patrons wishing to purchase and/or consume alcohol must be over 18 years of age and have valid photographic ID. Anyone found supplying or buying alcohol for a minor will be evicted from the Event & may face criminal charges. Any minor found consuming or in possession of alcohol will face similar action.

18. NO ALCOHOL can be brought into the Family Campground, Venue campgrounds or Venue car parking areas. Any alcohol brought into the Venue campgrounds will be confiscated and will not be returned. The Organiser reserves the right to take appropriate action in such circumstances.

19. Vehicles, Bags, containers and other personal items will be searched at the entry to the Venue to check for any banned items. The No Large Bag policy will be enforced in the Event area. Banned items include glass, alcohol, gas bottles, gas lanterns, butane gas cylinders, flammable liquids, weapons, umbrellas, selfie sticks, video cameras (including GoPros), and drones. 20. Protest and political paraphernalia and banners are not allowed in the Event or at the Venue. The Organiser reserves the right to remove any person in possession of or displaying these items, or any item which is deemed racist, vilifying, sexist and/or offensive.

21. Fires, liquid fuel containers such as kerosene or petrol and gas bottles external to purpose built RVs, caravans, campervans etc. are prohibited in the Venue campgrounds. Fire Marshals will be in the Venue campgrounds checking your setup to ensure safety and will confiscate any liquid fuel containers such as kerosene or petrol.

22. Fireworks, flares and the lighting of fires are prohibited.

23. Animals are prohibited at the Venue and Venue campgrounds, with the exception of service or assistance animals, such as Guide Dogs.

24. All Ticketholders consent to any official photography, filming & sound recording by the Organiser and/or any of its authorised representatives and contractors, and grant the Organiser the right to use such recordings for promotion and other purposes.

25. Footwear must be worn at all times throughout the Event site and Venue campgrounds.

26. Small still cameras are permitted but professional audio or video recording devices, including GoPros, and professional still cameras are prohibited. Ticketholders are not permitted to record the Event (audio or video) for commercial purposes.

27. Possession, sale or use of illegal drugs or illicit substances is strictly prohibited at the Venue and the Event. Any persons found with illegal drugs or illicit substances in their possession may be removed from the Venue and subject to Police action.

28. The Organiser reserves the right to refuse a Ticketholder admission to the Venue and the Event and/or to evict any person from the Venue and the Event if they are affected by alcohol or drugs, or act in contravention of any of these Terms and Conditions..

29. Patrons must not cause damage to, improperly use, or tamper with any Venue facility or Event infrastructure, or cause any damage to flora and fauna on or surrounding the Venue or enter any onsite bodies of water at the Venue. Patrons must not remove or attempt to remove any item or object from the Venue or surrounding area. Patrons accept full liability and responsibility for any loss or damage caused in contravention of this clause or any other term of these Terms and Conditions.

30. Patrons may be removed from the Venue if, in the opinion of the Organiser, they behave or act in a threatening or inappropriate manner, including without limitation, any aggressive, riotous, abusive, offensive, racist, sexist or insulting actions towards other patrons, Event staff or any other persons at the Venue or the Event. Patrons are required to follow the reasonable directions of the Organiser and Event staff at all times.

31. The Organiser reserves the right to vary the Event program and/or to add, withdraw or substitute artists. No ticket refunds or compensation will be made in such circumstances, or if the Event program varies due to the non-appearance of an advertised artist. The Event will take place rain, hail or shine.

  1. Tickets may not be resold, unless via the official ticket resale facility should one be made available by the Organiser, or used for advertising, promotion or other commercial purposes (including competitions and trade promotions) or to enhance the demand for other goods or services. If a ticket is sold or used in breach of this condition, the bearer of the ticket will be refused admission to the Venue and the Organiser may take further legal action against any parties that have breached this condition.
  2. Except where liability cannot be excluded by law, the Organiser (and its employees, contractors and agents) shall not be liable for any loss, cost, expense, injury, claim or damages suffered or sustained by any Ticketholders and patrons at the Venue or the Event. Where permitted under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL), the Organiser limits its liability in respect of breach of any statutory guarantee under the ACL in the manner set out in sections 64A(1)(a) and 64A(2)(a) of the ACL.

  28. Ticketholder acknowledges that there may be restricted capacities at some of the Event’s stages or venues, and ticket purchase does not guarantee entry to these areas in such circumstances. Once it is determined by the Organiser (at its sole discretion) that the maximum capacity has been reached in these areas, there will be no further admissions.
  29. To the full extent permitted by law, Ticketholders waive all legal rights of action against and fully release the Organiser, its agents, employees and volunteers for all claims for compensation for loss, damage, injury or death howsoever arising out of or in relation to the Ticketholder’s entry to and presence at the Venue and their attendance at the Event.
  35. In the event of injury or illness the Organiser may, at the cost of the Ticketholder, arrange medical treatment and/or emergency evacuation as deemed essential for the safety of the Ticketholder.
  36. Any provision of these Terms and Conditions which are or becomes unenforceable shall not invalidate the other provisions of these Terms and Conditions.

SUNDAY EVENT TICKET – TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE & ENTRY

This ticket is sold or provided on the express condition that the holder (“Ticketholder”) is bound by the rules & regulations issued by Splendour In The Grass Pty Ltd (“the Organiser”). Ticketholders agree to be bound by the Terms and Conditions contained herein and on the Splendour in the Grass website and at the Event Entry. 

This ticket permits entry to the Splendour in the Grass 2018 festival (“Event”) at North Byron Parklands (“the Venue”), Wooyung, on Sunday 22 July 2018 from 10am-2am only. This ticket does not permit entry to the Venue campgrounds unless the Ticketholder also purchases a 2018 Camping Ticket. Day Car Park Times: Sun 10am-2am.

  1. Ticketholders MUST show valid Photo ID at the Event entrance bearing the same name and date of birth details as those printed on their Event Ticket.
  2. All vehicles entering the Venue Campgrounds and Day Car Park must have the appropriate valid pre-purchased Vehicle Pass from www.moshtix.com.au. Pass must be displayed as per the Terms and Conditions printed on the pass or as detailed on www.splendourinthegrass.com
  3. Tickets are non-refundable and non-exchangeable.
  4. It is a condition of purchase that the Ticketholder consents to the Organiser collecting and retaining their personal information. The Organiser will hold your information as required by the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and for contacting you in relation to ticketing matters and Event information. The Organiser will not trade or sell your personal information.
  5. No refunds on tickets except as required by law &/or specified by the Live Performance Australia Ticketing Code of Practice. Incorrect purchases DO NOT qualify for a refund or exchange. 
  6. The Organiser reserves the right to enforce published ticket purchase limits and cancel any tickets obtained above said limits by any one customer.
  7. If you are removed from the Venue or the Event and/or denied entry to the Venue or the Event, you will not be entitled to any ticket refund in part or in full and/or compensation.
  8. Do not share your ticket barcode with anyone else or you may be denied entry. The Organiser reserves the right to deny admission to the holder of any ticket that appears to have been tampered with, counterfeited or duplicated.
  9. Your ticket will be exchanged for a wristband that you MUST keep on for the duration of the Event. Lost, damaged or stolen wristbands will not be replaced.
  10. Anyone entering the Venue, or found onsite at the Event without a valid wristband, will be deemed to have trespassed and will be handed over to the Police for charging. Maximum penalties apply.
  11. Ticketholders aged 15 and under must be accompanied by a parent and/or adult guardian at all times in the Event area, who must also hold a valid ticket to the Event.
  12. Persons aged 13 and over must purchase a ticket to the Event. Those aged 12 and under are admitted into the Event free.
  13. All minors, their parent and/or adult guardian must abide by the Event’s Youth Policy as detailed at www.splendourinthegrass.com
  14. The Venue, including the entertainment areas, car parks and campgrounds are licensed. Patrons wishing to purchase and/or consume alcohol must be over 18 years of age and have valid photographic ID. Anyone found supplying or buying alcohol for a minor will be evicted from the Event & may face criminal charges. Any minor found consuming or in possession of alcohol will face similar action.
  15. Alcohol cannot be brought into the Venue including the entertainment areas, car parks and campgrounds. Any alcohol brought into the Venue will be confiscated and will not be returned. The Organiser reserves the right to take appropriate action in such circumstances.
  16. Bags, containers and other personal items will be searched at the entry to the Venue to check for any banned items. The No Large Bag policy will be enforced in the Event area. Banned items include glass, alcohol, weapons, umbrellas, selfie sticks, video cameras (including GoPros), and drones. See full list of banned items at www.splendourinthegrass.com.
  17. Protest and political paraphernalia and banners are not allowed in the Event or at the Venue. The Organiser reserves the right to remove any person in possession of or displaying these items, or any item which is deemed racist, vilifying, sexist and/or offensive.
  18. Empty plastic/reusable bottles may be brought into the Event precinct for refilling from water stations.
  19. Fireworks, flares and the lighting of fires are prohibited.
  20. Animals are prohibited at the Venue, with the exception of service or assistance animals, such as Guide Dogs.
  21. Footwear must be worn at all times throughout the Event site.
  22. Small still cameras are permitted but professional audio or video recording devices, including GoPros, and professional still cameras are prohibited. Ticketholders are not permitted to record the Event (audio or video) for commercial purposes.
  23. All Ticketholders consent to be included in any official photography, filming & sound recording by the Organiser and/or any of its authorised representatives and contractors, and grant the Organiser the right to use such recordings for promotion and other purposes.
  24. Possession, sale or use of illegal drugs or illicit substances is strictly prohibited at the Venue and the Event. Any persons found with illegal drugs or illicit substances in their possession may be removed from the Venue and subject to Police action.
  25. The Organiser reserves the right to refuse a Ticketholder admission to the Venue and the Event and/or to evict any person from the Venue and the Event if they are affected by alcohol or drugs, or act in contravention of any of these Terms and Conditions.
  26. Activities such as moshing, crowd surfing, climbing and stage diving are strictly prohibited. Patrons engaging in these or other dangerous activities will be removed from the Venue, and patrons accept all risk and liability for any injuries or damages caused by these activities. Entry to the Venue is at the Ticketholder’s own risk.
  27. The Organiser recommends that due to noise levels, ear plugs should be carried/worn by patrons. Offensive language may be used by some performers and artists.
  28. Ticketholder acknowledges that there may be restricted capacities at some of the Event’s stages or venues, and ticket purchase does not guarantee entry to these areas in such circumstances. Once it is determined by the Organiser (at its sole discretion) that the maximum capacity has been reached in these areas, there will be no further admissions.
  29. Patrons must not cause damage to, improperly use, or tamper with any Venue facility or Event infrastructure, or cause any damage to flora and fauna on or surrounding the Venue or enter any onsite bodies of water at the Venue. Patrons must not remove or attempt to remove any item or object from the Venue or surrounding area. Patrons accept full liability and responsibility for any loss or damage caused in contravention of this clause or any other term of these Terms and Conditions.
  30. Patrons may be removed from the Venue if, in the opinion of the Organiser, they behave or act in a threatening or inappropriate manner, including without limitation, any aggressive, riotous, abusive, offensive, racist, sexist or insulting actions towards other patrons, Event staff or any other persons at the Venue or the Event. Patrons are required to follow the reasonable directions of the Organiser and Event staff at all times.
  31. The Organiser reserves the right to vary the Event program and/or to add, withdraw or substitute artists. No ticket refunds or compensation will be made in such circumstances, or if the Event program varies due to the non-appearance of an advertised artist. The Event will take place rain, hail or shine.
  32. Tickets may not be resold, unless via the official ticket resale facility should one be made available by the Organiser, or used for advertising, promotion or other commercial purposes (including competitions and trade promotions) or to enhance the demand for other goods or services. If a ticket is sold or used in breach of this condition, the bearer of the ticket will be refused admission to the Venue and the Organiser may take further legal action against any parties that have breached this condition.
  33. Except where liability cannot be excluded by law, the Organiser (and its employees, contractors and agents) shall not be liable for any loss, cost, expense, injury, claim or damages suffered or sustained by any Ticketholders and patrons at the Venue or the Event. Where permitted under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL), the Organiser limits its liability in respect of breach of any statutory guarantee under the ACL in the manner set out in sections 64A(1)(a) and 64A(2)(a) of the ACL.
  34. Holders of a National or State issued Companion card may request a companion ticket equivalent to the ticket type held by the Companion Card holder. Upon approval of request, Splendour in the Grass will issue companions a complimentary ticket to the event to accompany a person with disability.
