Jhassic is one of Sydney’s underground kings. Rakish loves to keep you on your feet. Together they’ll bring the beats to Mix Up.
Jhassic’s sets have landed him slots commanding dance floors from intimate house parties to a residency mainstay at one of Sydney’s most iconic dance music capitals, Club 77. Expect dusty crunchy house records, thumping UK garage, flips and edits of nostalgic favourites blended with the latest experimentation in electronica. With ten plus years of experience as a performer, Jhassic is a heavyweight in the dancefloor division.
With roots in Sydney’s underground queer club scene, you can find Rakish comfortably spinning colourful and soulful sounds ranging from the likes of disco, house, RnB and plenty of four-to-the-floor goodness. Cofounder of Kerfew (a collective of South Asian Australian artists) and former presenter on FBi radio, you can trust him for fresh and surprising selections when he hits Mix Up.
