The Mount Druitt based, Sudanese-Australian rapper/singer has made waves with her singles Bussit, Frauds, and Jordan 1s solidifying themselves as instant classics in local club music whilst carrying internationally via playlisting and radio. Her one-of-a-kind energy, rapid-fire wit, globe-trotting sonic influences and boss-level delivery has started to reach audiences locally and internationally via Spotify playlisting and features on radio tastemakers here and abroad with a sync on the global hit Netflix series Heartbreak High. In just under three years of releasing music Vv has already hyped crowds supporting Jay1 and Denzel Curry, has taken over The Sydney Opera House with The Street University Mount Druitt, performed at Heaps Gay, Phoenix Central Park and played Listen Out 2024 across all four cities. Vv met and worked with LA-based Dominican ‘dystopic reggaeton’ producer Kelman Duran (known for his production work on Beyonce’s Renaissance) and subsequently released Bacardi Papi alongside longstanding collaborator Utility.
