Hip hop heads in Australia will be familiar with the name JK-47 who has been penning rhymes and rapping since the age of fourteen. His name is known beyond his hometown of Tweed Heads, with the Bundjalung rapper loved for crafting timeless lyrics that paint vivid pictures with his music. With his debut album Made For This earning feature album on triple j, nominations for Best New Act at the Rolling Stone Awards and Rookie of the Year in Acclaim Magazine, and bookings slots for festivals like Laneway, Groovin The Moo, and Splendour In The Grass, JK-47 is on the rise. Now, with his sophomore album Revision For Regrowth out, the world is beginning to see the full extent of JK-47’s talent. He’s on a mission to touch hearts and minds not only in Australia but worldwide – and he’s well on his way to achieving that mission.
