The Smith Street Band

The Smith Street Band have been a powerhouse of Australian music for the last decade. On top of non-stop touring, five of their six studio albums have hit the ARIA Album Charts, with Don’t Waste Your Anger becoming their first number 1 album in 2020. Three of their live albums have also made the ARIA charts with Live at The Triffid reaching number 4 and six of their singles cracking triple j’s Hottest 100. The Smith Street Band spent much of the last 18 months keeping as busy as possible releasing a studio album, three live albums, lead singer Wil Wagner put out a solo album and re-released an old demo collection. Their most recent studio album, Life After Football was released in November 2022, a renewal of the group’s pub rock roots and showing that overall, the band are still on fire.
