Born in Orange NSW and now residing in Bondi, Sydney, Ellie D hit the local music scene in 2015 playing at clubs in Wollongong where she was picked to support big names such as Dusky, Peking Duck and Jack Beats. When she moved to Sydney, she quickly became a key selector in the Deeper than House collective, where she grew her love for techno. Through these experiences she met Krissy Jaman, and together they founded a duo called Sideboob Music, creating and running successful events, such as Sunday Service and Porridge, the notorious 5am techno party at Club 77. Late in 2018, her creative scope started to shift to production. As she started developing her sound and skills you could hear her earlier influences mixed into her huge collection of bangin’, phat and driving techno all throughout Sydney. From bars, to warehouses, underground clubs and festivals, her unique brand and style of entertainment fuses together booms, bangs and synths all delicately balanced with elements of euphoria. Look out for her sets, bootlegs and tracks on YouTube and Soundcloud, and her releases on Motorik records and Mavic Music.
