SophDexx, also known as “The Bass Cowgirl”, has been bringing her transmissible energy to drum and bass dancefloors and festivals across Australia since 2021 and guarantees you’ll be taken on a thrill of a ride. Rooted in Bundjalung Country, SophDexx currently represents two prominent collectives in the Australian bass community: Clitoverse, a collective based in Bellingen NSW that is focused on empowering and promoting women in the music industry and her local crew, Byron DnB, a collective dedicated to nurturing an underground culture for the new DnB generation.

SophDexx’s style is high energy and chaotic with some of the filthiest basslines. In the studio and in her sets, Soph fuses the flavours of jump up, rollers, dancefloor and neurofunk, combined with quick switches, double drops and throwback bootlegs/dubs, corralling the crowd, leaving them breathless and craving for more. Crowds who’ve experienced these horsepower sessions so far include Rabbits Eat Lettuce, Splendour in the Grass, Bohemian Beatfreaks, Earth Frequency, Utopia Beach and Euphoria Festivals.
